Chocolato Chocolate & Ice Cream Bar continues to expand across the province and is opening a brand new store in the neighborhood of St-Roch in Quebec City. It’s no longer a secret to “the locals”: St-Georges is now home to the 8th SHAKER restaurant-bar! Open since last July, the newest member of the SHAKER family has already conquered the heart of everyone. Even before the official announcement of its opening, the people of St-Georges were buzzing about their upcoming visit to this new restaurant! In addition to the 185-seat indoor dining area, SHAKER also offers a vast covered terrace for your enjoyment.

In the past weeks, the seventh restaurant in the SHAKER Kitchen & Mixology banner opened its doors in Gatineau, for the greatest delight of the area’s amateurs of tartares and cocktails. Anxiously awaited, area residents showed the greatest welcome: only a few days after its opening, the restaurant’s success was so immense that new employees came in for backup! Located at Les Promenades Gatineau, the restaurant-bar caters to its new clientele with 250 seated places, in addition to a beautiful front terrace for summertime.

Open for the first time last January, only hours after the final works had been completed! Located in the former Cage aux Sports, the Bar & Grill offers once again the chic yet laid back ambiance for which it has become known. The SHAKER concept crosses the bridges: welcome SHAKER Lévis!

Soon after the opening of the Cap-Rouge restaurant, this all new SHAKER open its doors in the heart of Lévis in May 2016! In the former Steak Shop location, SHAKER Lévis is planned just in time for the start of warmer weather! Offering 175 indoor seats and a 100-seat sun-filled terrace, SHAKER Lévis is undoubtedly the new destination to discover in the area, as much for business luncheons as for festive evenings.

The SHAKER experience sweeps over… The Bas-Saint-Laurent region

The SHAKER Cuisine & Mixology chain continues its expansion with the opening of a fourth Bar & Grill in December 2016. Located in the heart of downtown on Saint-Germain Street, in the former Bar chez Pull location, Shaker Rimouski offers 195 seats along with the largest terrace in town for the summer season. With an investment of close to 1 million dollars to develop and furnish the location, its arrival created many jobs and generated considerable new income for the area.

Welcome to a second member in our family: SHAKER Cap-Rouge!

A little over 11 months since the first restaurant opened, a second SHAKER location is announced. Spurred by the success of their first location, the owners joined forces with three new partners to create SHAKER Franchisor. Together, they carry on their adventure by opening a new industrial chic restaurant-bar. In March 2016, tartare and cocktail enthusiasts will have the pleasure of living the Cap-Rouge SHAKER experience! Just like its predecessor, this new restaurant also promises a welcoming ambiance where good food and mixology meet for a unique experience.

A true passion project led by love of chocolate, Chocolato is founded in 2015 by the group and an associate, Guyaume Arsenault. With the desire to offer an experience that is at the crossroads between a dairy bar and a chocolate shop inspired by the most prestigious Italian chocolate shops, a first location opens in Ste-Foy. The purest, best quality ingredients are the basis and inspiration for Chocolato’s products. In addition to 20 choices of chocolate dippings, Chocolato was truly a pioneering force in offering the dipped ice-cream experience year-round.

Planète Nutrition:

Planète Nutrition, a food supplement store offering a wide variety of complementary products, is launched in 2015 by the group and an associate, William Déry. The banner distinguishes itself from the competition through its personalized service, top quality private label and athletic grocery: a department offering food products to enhance customers’ physical health goals. Now with 7 locations and a transactional Web site, Planète Nutrition is already well on its way to becoming one of the main players in its field.

The Pyramide is now home to a new tartare and cocktail concept A fresh new wind comes to Ste-Foy: SHAKER Kitchen & Mixology! In the former location of the mythical STAR BAR, the industrial chic styled restaurant-bar welcomes food lovers for daytime as well as nightime dining to discover a singular experience. Mixology has a starring role with a choice of some fifty cocktails including a dozen original creations. All these drinks are served in very on-trend Mason-style jars, in a choice of 2 and 4 oz alcoholic drinks.

The banner instantly becomes a huge success, making immediate expansion a must. HOLA Mexican Grill:

In 2015, the group diversifies its offer with HOLA Mexican Grill, a fast service counter serving fresh, made-to-measure cuisine. Located in Ste-Foy’s La Pyramide mall, it caters to Mexican food aficionados but also healthy cuisine fans. At HOLA Mexican Grill, the combinations are close to infinite to create a completely customized meal: Choice of dish, meat, vegetables, condiments, sauces and other sides. All leading to made to measure pleasure for the customer who likes it milder, or, hot & spicy.

VAPOSHOP:

An ambitious project for the group and two of its associates, Pierre-Antoine Morency et Jean-Félix Bureau, VAPOSHOP is first launched as a line of vaping liquid products. Distributed in many Québec convenience stores, the brand becomes a great success, bringing its founders to open their own locations. In 2014, the first VAPOSHOP is born in Ste-Foy, followed by one in Lévis and one in Charlesbourg in 2017.

Frit's Burgers & Poutines:

In 2011, the group and one of their associates, Guyaume Arsenault, embark on a whole new adventure with Frit’s Burgers & Poutines. Fans of delicious food enjoy deluxe burgers, over-the-top poutines and other revisited fast food classics. Their first restaurant in Ste-Foy’s La Pyramide mall then leads to a second restaurant in Beauport in 2017, others will follow in the coming years.

The Little Frog:

With the Little Frog live show & party house bars, the group brings the live singing experience to a larger public, this type of concept once being reserved to smaller spaces with a more limited crowd. The Little Frog comes with a simple and proven concept: live music or stand-up acts,many specials on drinks and festive theme nights. From its very beginning in 2005, party fans who love “the good old days” meet there to sing old hits out loud.

Its strategic location in Ste-Foy’s La Pyramide mall made this spot a must for business meals as for festives outings and… team projects! Many former students will remember the irresistible specials on pitchers and unforgettable theme nights. A few years later, the group added the STAR CLUB to the existing bar for an enhanced offer.

A mythical spot for many Québec residents, the STAR CAFÉ opens in 2001 in the heart of Ste-Foy. Open 24 hours, the café with restaurant counter offered a fast food-style menu: breakfasts, paninis, ice cream and desserts were only a few of the specialties. Its proximity to various campuses and extended business hours made this place ideal for study sessions or creation. It is said that many people of the artistic community would meet there to delve into their art.

This is the project where the adventure begins in 1996. Inspired by big dreams, Vincent and André-François, then students and roommates, buy a bankrupt convenience store, believing this is a golden opportunity. Investing all their savings and time, the two entrepreneurs work night and day to put things back on track. They operate the business, make deliveries while also renovating the location. With the gradual arrival of other family members as backup, their efforts start showing results.

Soon after the opening of the Cap-Rouge restaurant, this all new SHAKER open its doors in the heart of Lévis in May 2016! In the former Steak Shop location, SHAKER Lévis is planned just in time for the start of warmer weather! Offering 175 indoor seats and a 100-seat sun-filled terrace, SHAKER Lévis is undoubtedly the new destination to discover in the area, as much for business luncheons as for festive evenings.

The SHAKER Cuisine & Mixology chain continues its expansion with the opening of a fourth Bar & Grill in December 2016. Located in the heart of downtown on Saint-Germain Street, in the former Bar chez Pull location, Shaker Rimouski offers 195 seats along with the largest terrace in town for the summer season. With an investment of close to 1 million dollars to develop and furnish the location, its arrival created many jobs and generated considerable new income for the area.

A little over 11 months since the first restaurant opened, a second SHAKER location is announced. Spurred by the success of their first location, the owners joined forces with three new partners to create SHAKER Franchisor. Together, they carry on their adventure by opening a new industrial chic restaurant-bar. In March 2016, tartare and cocktail enthusiasts will have the pleasure of living the Cap-Rouge SHAKER experience! A true passion project led by love of chocolate, Chocolato is founded in 2015 by the group and an associate, Guyaume Arsenault. With the desire to offer an experience that is at the crossroads between a dairy bar and a chocolate shop inspired by the most prestigious Italian chocolate shops, a first location opens in Ste-Foy. The purest, best quality ingredients are the basis and inspiration for Chocolato’s products. In addition to 20 choices of chocolate dippings, Chocolato was truly a pioneering force in offering the dipped ice-cream experience year-round.

Planète Nutrition, a food supplement store offering a wide variety of complementary products, is launched in 2015 by the group and an associate, William Déry. The banner distinguishes itself from the competition through its personalized service, top quality private label and athletic grocery: a department offering food products to enhance customers’ physical health goals. Now with 7 locations and a transactional Web site, Planète Nutrition is already well on its way to becoming one of the main players in its field.

A newcomer to the Québec City restaurant-bar scene!

The Pyramide is now home to a new tartare and cocktail concept A fresh new wind comes to Ste-Foy: SHAKER Kitchen & Mixology! In the former location of the mythical STAR BAR, the industrial chic styled restaurant-bar welcomes food lovers for daytime as well as nightime dining to discover a singular experience. Mixology has a starring role with a choice of some fifty cocktails including a dozen original creations. All these drinks are served in very on-trend Mason-style jars, in a choice of 2 and 4 oz alcoholic drinks.

The banner instantly becomes a huge success, making immediate expansion a must. With 10 locations opening throughout the province in under 2 years, SHAKER Kitchen & Mixology has quickly found its niche as the only restaurant-bar chain specializing in tartares, cocktails and gourmet burgers.

HOLA Mexican Grill:

In 2015, the group diversifies its offer with HOLA Mexican Grill, a fast service counter serving fresh, made-to-measure cuisine. Located in Ste-Foy’s La Pyramide mall, it caters to Mexican food aficionados but also healthy cuisine fans. At HOLA Mexican Grill, the combinations are close to infinite to create a completely customized meal: Choice of dish, meat, vegetables, condiments, sauces and other sides. All leading to made to measure pleasure for the customer who likes it milder, or, hot & spicy.

VAPOSHOP:

An ambitious project for the group and two of its associates, Pierre-Antoine Morency et Jean-Félix Bureau, VAPOSHOP is first launched as a line of vaping liquid products. Distributed in many Québec convenience stores, the brand becomes a great success, bringing its founders to open their own locations. In 2014, the first VAPOSHOP is born in Ste-Foy, followed by one in Lévis and one in Charlesbourg in 2017.

Frit's Burgers & Poutines:

In 2011, the group and one of their associates, Guyaume Arsenault, embark on a whole new adventure with Frit’s Burgers & Poutines. Fans of delicious food enjoy deluxe burgers, over-the-top poutines and other revisited fast food classics. Their first restaurant in Ste-Foy’s La Pyramide mall then leads to a second restaurant in Beauport in 2017, others will follow in the coming years.

The Little Frog:

With the Little Frog live show & party house bars, the group brings the live singing experience to a larger public, this type of concept once being reserved to smaller spaces with a more limited crowd. The Little Frog comes with a simple and proven concept: live music or stand-up acts,many specials on drinks and festive theme nights. From its very beginning in 2005, party fans who love “the good old days” meet there to sing old hits out loud.

Star Bar:

A variation of the STAR CAFÉ, the STAR BAR, opens in 2004, to offer a restaurant-bar experience. Its strategic location in Ste-Foy’s La Pyramide mall made this spot a must for business meals as for festives outings and… team projects! Many former students will remember the irresistible specials on pitchers and unforgettable theme nights. A few years later, the group added the STAR CLUB to the existing bar for an enhanced offer.

Star Café:

A mythical spot for many Québec residents, the STAR CAFÉ opens in 2001 in the heart of Ste-Foy. Open 24 hours, the café with restaurant counter offered a fast food-style menu: breakfasts, paninis, ice cream and desserts were only a few of the specialties. Its proximity to various campuses and extended business hours made this place ideal for study sessions or creation. It is said that many people of the artistic community would meet there to delve into their art.

Dépanneur Dulessis:

This is the project where the adventure begins in 1996. Inspired by big dreams, Vincent and André-François, then students and roommates, buy a bankrupt convenience store, believing this is a golden opportunity. Investing all their savings and time, the two entrepreneurs work night and day to put things back on track. They operate the business, make deliveries while also renovating the location. With the gradual arrival of other family members as backup, their efforts start showing results.

VAPOSHOP:

The VAPOSHOP banner, specialized in vaping products, continues to expand across the province and plans to open new branches in the regions of Québec, Montréal, Trois-Rivières, Drummondville, Saguenay, Rimouski et de la Côte-Nord.
